Thomas Müller - Hearing Aid Specialist & Managing Director

Thomas Müller

Thomas has over 20 years of experience in the hearing aid industry and particularly enjoys challenges and opportunities that leverage his expertise in the field. He is a qualified Audiometrist (Cert IV Audiometry, Diploma in Hearing Device Prescription and Evaluation, TAFE, NSW, Australia).

He originally started out in Switzerland as a qualified Precision Engineer, and further qualifications in Electronics and Microelectronics provided him with an opportunity to join a leading Swiss hearing aid manufacturer where he could focus on specialist hearing aid repairs and manufacturing.

After extensively travelling around the world, Thomas chose to settle in New Zealand in 1989 and joined a major audiology retail clinic to extend his knowledge on all brands and makes of hearing aids. He headed the clinic’s service department, which carried out repairs and in-house manufacturing of custom-made In-The-Ear hearing aids for the New Zealand market. While in this role, Thomas refined his knowledge on the comparative quality of hearing aid technology through visiting various manufacturers in the USA and Europe.

In recognition of his significant experience in hearing aid technology, Thomas was invited to join a leading hearing aid manufacturer in 1994 where he established a world-class production and service support for nationwide distribution, which contributed to company’s significant growth of market share in New Zealand during that period.

Thomas’ key area of expertise is in the technology of rehabilitative audiology and he has a long and substantial history of providing consulting advice to various audiologists within and outside of New Zealand on all aspects of this area.

“My commitment to you does not end after you’ve bought your hearing aid”.
