Hearing Aid Subsidy

If you do not qualify for any other funding and are aged 65 or older and are holder of a valid SuperGold card, a Government hearing aid subsidy of $511.11 (incl GST) is provided to New Zealanders and New Zealand residents towards the cost of each hearing aid.

This subsidy is available for the first time purchase of hearing aids and every 6 years thereafter for replacement hearing aids.

It is not means or asset tested.
