War Pensions

This type of funding is available to any War Veteran who has acquired a hearing loss that may have occurred as a result of noise exposure during their military service for New Zealand or Great Britain.

War Pensions will pay for hearing aids up to $920.00 (incl GST) each, fitting fees, follow-up visits, maintenance and repairs and provides a battery allowance for the hearing aids. Your Audiologist or hearing clinic can supply you with hearing aid batteries.

However, based on individual requirements, the Audiologist can apply for overscale funding for better technology hearing aids.
