Ingredients:
• 1 kg lamb (leg or steaks), beef rump or topside beef
• 2 onions
• 1 green or red capsicum
• Marinade:
• 1 cup Easiyo yogurt
• salt and ground pepper
• juice of 1 lemon
• Yogurt Sauce:
• 1 cup Easiyo yogurt
• 2 tsp lemon juice
• 2 cloves garlic, crushed
• salt and pepper to taste


Method:
Cut the meat into 2.5 cm cubes.
Mix the yogurt, lemon, slat and pepper together.
Fold into the meat. Marinate for 3-4 hours. Remove meat from marinade.

Cut onions and capsicum into bite size pieces.
Thread meat onto skewers alternating with onion and capsicum. Retain the marinade.
Barbeque or grill kebabs, turning several times and basting with remaining marinade.
Cook for 10-15 minutes according to taste.

To make sauce, mix together the yogurt, garlic, lemon juice and seasonings.
Spoon yogurt sauce over just before serving.


Variations/Comments:
For something a little different serve the meat off the skewers and in pita bread with yogurt sauce.
