Building diversity into Olympic preparations

As London prepares for the Olympic Games of 2012, Britain’s Olympic Delivery Authority is trying to ensure that small local business and those run by ethnic minority groups, women, and people with disabilities get their fair share of contracts. The British Equality and Human Rights Commission is developing guidance for these small businesses, as well as for those sourcing supplies for the 2012 Olympics, to maximise benefits for disadvantaged business groups.
