In vitro discrimination tested

A test case in Britain has decided that the protection against discrimination provided for pregnant women does not extend to a female worker who is undergoing the early stages of in vitro fertilization treatment. An English woman, whose ova had already been fertilized by her partner’s sperm cells but had not yet been transferred into her uterus, was dismissed from her job and complained of discrimination.
